We got great value for our money at The Story House. The room was cozy and felt like a home away from home. The location was perfect for exploring the Mendip Hills and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The menu for breakfast could have had more options.

My partner and I had the most wonderful stay at this charming countryside cottage. It was the perfect place to unwind and escape from our busy lives. The cottage was thoughtfully decorated and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We loved exploring the beautiful Mendip Hills right from our doorstep, with stunning hiking trails just a stone's throw away. The hosts were incredibly friendly and provided us with helpful suggestions for walks, runs, and bike rides. We also appreciated the cozy log burner, especially during the colder evenings. The cottage was spotlessly clean and well-equipped for a self-catering holiday. We were delighted that our furry companion was welcome too, at no extra cost. we had a fabulous time and would highly recommend this cottage for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway.

The cottage is located in a beautiful area, with easy access to hiking trails and nearby attractions such as Cheddar Gorge. The peaceful countryside setting made for a relaxing stay. The accommodation was well-equipped and clean, with thoughtful touches throughout. We particularly enjoyed the log burner, which kept us warm during our visit.- The hosts were helpful and provided us with plenty of information before our stay. They also allowed our dog to accompany us at no extra cost.

Upon arrival, the cottage was a little cold. However, heaters were provided, and once we got the fire going, it became warm and cosy.

Enjoyed the complimentary WiFi and private parking. Went hiking and cycling nearby. Bristol Airport is conveniently close.I mean, who wouldn't want to be near an airport?

Oh, I simply despised the fact that I couldn't stay forever. How dare they have such a charming place with such limited availability!
